Hi, I’m Tina, a dedicated mom and nurse with over 30 years of experience. My passion for fitness and health started early, as I played softball and basketball throughout my school years. I carried this love into college, where I played rugby, taught aerobics at the local YMCA, and developed an interest in running races. After having my daughter, I stayed active by coaching her youth basketball team.
However, life as a single mom eventually took a toll. Despite always being proud of my strength and independence, I struggled with self-doubt, a lack of confidence, and accountability to myself deep down. In late 2021, after COVID and as a newly empty-nester, I found myself turning to food and alcohol for comfort. I was overweight, depressed, and discouraged. That’s when I came across an inspiring video on TikTok and thought, “Why not give it a try?” Feeling desperate, but determined to make a change, I reached out to Coach Kaylee, and the rest is history.
Since joining GRAV1TY, I’ve achieved things I never thought were possible. Through hard work, consistency, and a supportive community, I’ve become the best version of myself. Not only have I exceeded my weight loss goals, but I’ve also completed my first obstacle course race (OCR), a Tough Mudder, with more races coming up.
What I’m most proud of is not just my physical accomplishments, but the mental growth I’ve experienced along the way. Positivity is essential to success. This journey has taught me that striving to be your best is a very personal process that’s different for everyone. A “loss” is not a failure; it’s an opportunity to learn. From this mindset, I’ve learned the importance of focusing on both the wins and the lessons from setbacks. Each day and every step forward is progress.
Stay present. Stay focused. Stay grounded.
The support and camaraderie of the GRAV1TY community have been an essential part of my journey. This incredible team has given me the extra push I needed to succeed, and it is the sense of belonging that has helped me transform my life. Coach Kaylee taught me to believe in myself again, and for that, I will forever be grateful.

Hey, I’m Dom! I’m a full-time college student, super focused on personal growth, acing my studies, and staying active. Fitness is a big part of my life, it’s not just about looking good, but feeling strong mentally and physically. I push myself in the gym, always working on building both strength and discipline.
When it comes to school, I’m all about challenging myself and learning as much as I can. I’m a big fan of collaborating with others and bouncing around ideas. Outside of classes, I’m into making new connections, joining extracurriculars, and diving into hobbies that keep me curious and creative.
Fitness isn’t just something I do in my spare time, it’s a lifestyle that teaches me resilience, how to set goals, and always work towards self-improvement. Whether I’m hitting new personal bests at the gym or navigating tough assignments, I stay focused and committed to leveling up.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to combine what I’m learning in school with my passion for fitness, and find a way to make a real impact. I believe that consistency, hard work, and a positive mindset are the best tools to turn any goal into a reality.

In 2022, I began a fitness journey that saved my life. For years, I lived in isolation, struggling with sleep issues, binge eating, anxiety, and depression. I saw no way out and nearly gave up, until God placed people in my life who encouraged me to start over.
I took a leap of faith, sold everything I owned, and moved to Florida. Within a month, I joined 1st Phorm’s Transphormation Challenge and lost 60 lbs in 8 weeks with the support of my friends, family, and coach. A month later, my best friend passed away from an obesity-related heart attack. That loss made me realize just how close I had been to the same fate, reinforcing my commitment to this new path.
Over the next two years, I not only rebuilt my physical health but also overcame the grief and fear that had held me back. In January of this year, I was baptized, marking my full commitment to making up for lost time and pushing my limits in every way possible.
My goal is to inspire others through my relentless pursuit of new challenges, goals, and competitions. I want to expand my knowledge, not just to improve as an athlete but to show others that they are loved and have value, no matter how lost they may feel.
I aim to help people avoid rock bottom and make positive changes proactively. While rock bottom can be an amazing place to rebuild, not everyone comes back from it.
And a phrase I live by is “Live Mighty”, a reminder to never stop the pursuit of health and happiness, to reach your full potential, and to keep faith in the Most High.
